Let’s face it, it’s a lot easier to be a man than a woman. Those painful menstrual cramps, childbirth pains or the feeling of bra straps digging into one’s back.
But now, this bra company CEO is letting men experience what it’s like to have large breasts so they can understand what women go through every day.
His reasoning is simple. How can these guys design and make the best lingerie if they don’t know what it’s like to have breasts?
So PrimaDonna boss Ignace Van Doorselaere, based in Belgium, gave each guy a pair of weights to hang around their necks to simulate the experience of having E-cup breasts. That’s around 2.2-3.5lbs per breast.
That way, they would understand how important it is to create bras that are functional, supportive and comfortable.
Ignace said “As a man, how can you know what it is like to have a bigger cup size? You make lingerie for women with a larger cup size but you have no clue. But there is only one way for a man to realise what an E-cup feels like… and that is having an E-cup.”
“This is a lot. It hurts your neck. It hurts your back. Imagine you are that woman. Carry those breasts for an entire day. That’s why you need good support. Good support is important. Everybody at PrimaDonna knows that now.”
